Prayers & intercession of Abia people behind infrastructural development & achievements– Governor Alex Otti

Abis state governor Alex Otti has said that it’s only the prayers and intercession of the good people of Abia state people that have made the state to witness giant strides in infrastructural development.

The governor stated this in a message he sent during the dedication of a Methodist Church cathedral in the state.

Since he took over governance of the state it has witnessed lots of progress in the area of road and other infrastructure development.

Also Abia state public workers now receive their salaries on due dates. He has also started payment of abandoned pension to retired public workers.

Previously bad and neglected roads are receiving attention now. Example are Portharcourt road in Aba and entrance road of the state capital, Umuahia from the Abia towers.

A few days to Christmas the governor commissioned street lights on the once dilapidated and neglected Ngwa road to the admiration of residents of Aba people .

Abia state has been unlucky with governance since the advent of this third Republic as the regimes of Orji Uzor Kalu, TA Orji, Okezie Ikpeazu did not witness much in the development and progress in the state.
