An adult passenger aboard a MetroFlight operated by Ibom Air tragically died mid-air during a domestic flight earlier today, airline and aviation sources confirm.
The exact cause of death remains under investigation. The airline says the passenger became unresponsive during the flight, and first-aid measures were attempted.
The plane continued to its destination, where medical personnel were waiting, but the passenger was declared dead on arrival.
Passengers reportedly witnessed crew members administering emergency medical assistance, with the cabin crew declaring a medical emergency and informing the flight deck.
