Ibadan youths have made it clear that they will not join Lagos youths in engaging in any form of “bigotry”.
Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV), the Labour Party Governorship candidate for Lagos State in the 2023 election, was in Ibadan, Oyo State for the coronation of the Olubadan.
Sharing a photo of GRV at the ceremony, Wale Ajetunmobi, the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Media, wrote: “Ibadan people don Carey monkey go market”.
However, Ibadan youths blasted Ajetunmobi, aka Riddwane. They told him that GRV is Yoruba and berated him for calling his fellow black man a “monkey” just because he contested against his principal.
They further stated that Ibadan does not condone bigotry and everyone is welcome.
