Senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Senator Ned Nwoko has justified his marital status as a polygamist saying that every man should be married to more than one wife to create a balance.
Nwoko further said that he is sorry for men who are married to one wife arguing that no human can stand on one leg and that he is practising the old testament as a christian.
He made these assertion during an interview with Seun Okinbaloye, the anchor of Channels Television Sunday Politics. He also made a case for Anioma State which he insisted is the choice for the 6th state for the southeast geographical zone.
“Every citizen in Anioma is Igbo and has an Igbo name. My Igbo name is Chinedu and I speak Igbo fluently.” He told Sen Okinbaloye.
The senator who is married to five women including Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels debunked allegations that he beats his wives.
“I never beat my wives. I love them all with my children. I am not a violents person.” He said.
In recent times, Ned Nwoko has enmeshed in marital squabbles with his young wife, Regina Daniels which resulted in hr moving out of his Maitama Abuja home.
