Notorious militant Asari Dokubo went live on Facebook to speak about the possibility of Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, receiving a ministerial appointment in the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration.
For this Asari Dokubo said “I am Against Wike becoming a minister in the Tinubu administration, and I don’t think it will do the government of Tinubu well to appoint a character like Wike as minister in his government.
But I must say the truth: Wike staked everything for Tinubu during the elections, and if Tinubu thinks he will award Wike with a ministerial position even though I am against it, then so be it.”
He added, “Wike went out and put everything at stake. Some people didn’t do that; they were looking for more than one basket.
So if the President says he can put Wike under control and make Wike work for the good of the country, then I have no choice but to respect Tinubu’s position because Wike stood with Tinubu during the elections.”
