Contractors Block Finance Ministry Entrance With Coffin, Demand Payment of N500bn Debt
Local contractors under the All Indigenous Contractors Association of Nigeria have blocked the entrance of the Federal Ministry of Finance with a coffin.
They are demanding payment of over N500 billion owed to them by the federal government for completed projects.
For sometime now local contractors have been organizing protest to demand payment for work done.
Recently the federal government has boasted that it has exceeded the collection of the 2025 revenue but unable to pay local debts.
