A 29-year old man, Akinbile Muhammed, has landed in trouble for allegedly recording a Police officer while performing his lawful duty on the highway and allegedly collecting money from motorists in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that he was caught and charged before the Court for obstruction of lawful duty.
The incident happened on 9th December, 2025, at Dopemu area of Lagos, while the Police was on duty on the highway.
According to the Police, the suspect used his phone’s camera to record the Police officer before he was caught, arrested and then detained at the Dopermu Police Divisional Headquarters Agege Lagos.
During the altercation, the suspect was alleged to have damaged the Police patrol vehicle and tore the uniform of Constabulary Olayiwola Olalekan in the process.
He was found culpable and charged before the Ogba Magistrate Court for the alleged offence which attracts several years of imprisonment.
