22-year-old Executive Director of Eleganza Industries, Raheem Okoya has opened up about his father’s large family.
Naija News that Raheem, the son of billionaire industrialist, Rasaq Okoya, spoke in an interview with BBC News Yoruba.
He revealed that the business mogul has 26 children from nine different women.
According to him, his father built a very wide family over the years and is known for having many children across different homes.
Raheem explained that he belongs to the youngest group among the children.
He said he and his siblings in that category are the last set born into the family.
He also shared that the first child of Chief Okoya is already 60 years old, which shows the wide age gap between the eldest and the youngest members of the family.
He said: “My dad is a striker. He has 26 kids with 9 different baby mamas. We are the last set. His first child is 60 year old.”
Chief Rasaq Okoya is a well-known Nigerian businessman, and his family life has often drawn public attention because of its size.
His revelation comes shortly after he downplayed the insinuation that he is riding on his father’s wealth, stating that he works and earns a salary.
Raheem dispelled the perception that his position and lifestyle are handed to him by virtue of his father’s name and fortune, noting that he has secured independent investors for his music career.
