The senator representing Ebonyi North in the upper legislative assembly Onyekachi Nwaebonyi has cried out publicly that he is suffering as a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria.
The suffering senator made this known publicly recently as he said that his second source of sustenance is his farm which is now taking care of most of his bills and needs.
According to him his salary cannot sustain him but that he is putting up a plastic smile just to satisfy and make his constituency happy.
An average Nigerian senator goes home monthly with the sum of N27 million that includes his salary, allowances and perks.
This is outside periodic jumbo constituency allocations given to each senator which they use and disburse as they like.
