The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, says that Nigerians will enjoy full and uninterrupted electricity supply before President Bola Ahmed Tinubu leaves office in 2031.
Adelabu said this during the commissioning of the Kwaru 1X15 MVA 33/11KV Injection Substation in the Ikotun-Egbe suburb of Lagos on Saturday, August 2.
Tinubu while campaigning in 2023 told Nigerians not to vote for him for a second term if he does not solve the problem of electricity in four years.
According to the minister he said “the present administration in Nigeria, led by His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with the Renewed Hope Agenda, recognizes that energy is not merely a commodity; it is the backbone of economic growth and job creation.
Nigerians can be assured of the President’s determination to ensure that citizens enjoy full and uninterrupted electricity supply before he leaves office” the Minister said
