The roaring Super Eagles of Nigeria has defeated highly rated Algeria in the tension soaked quarter final match of the ongoing AFCON competition.
The victorious team will now meet the Atlas Lions of Morocco in the semi-final of Africa Cup of Nations. Morroco is the country hosting the AFCON tournament.
Super Eagles goal came from a header from Victor Osimhen in the 47th minute to announce the curtain raiser.
In the 57th minute Akon Adams scored the second goal when he utilized a through-pass from Osimhen.
