The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has formally inaugurated the immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, as the Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The announcement was made public in a video shared on Wednesday by Gbenga Saka, the minister’s Special Adviser on Digital Media, via his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Ganduje’s appointment comes just days after he stepped down as the national chairman of the ruling APC amid internal party developments. His new role at FAAN places him at the helm of one of Nigeria’s most critical aviation agencies.
More details on the terms of his appointment and the board’s agenda are expected to emerge in the coming days.
