One angry Nigerian and legal practitioner Maxwell Opara has come out in strong condemnation of president Tinubu renaming the University of Maiduguri after the late Muhammadu Buhari.
In an interview with Arise Television, Maxwell Opara strongly criticized the Federal executive Council’s decision to rename the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) after former President Muhammadu Buhari.
He vowed not to allow any of his children to attend the university that is bearing the name of the maximum ruler and despot.
Many have come out to denounce the renaming of Unimaid after Buhari. Notable among them are the students of University of Maiduguri, the Alumni Association and lecturers of the reputable Northern University.
It will be recalled that the same Tinubu that renamed Unimaid after Buhari kicked against the renaming of UNILAG after MKO Abiola by then president Goodluck Jonathan.
