The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU-EOM) in Nigeria has called for urgent electoral reforms to address the shortcomings of past polls and ensure free, fair, and credible elections in 2027.
They did the call with Nigeria’s main opposition group African Democratic party (ADC) recently in Abuja.
The EU delegation, led by Chief of Mission and Member of the European Parliament, Mr. Barry Andrews, met with the ADC leadership in Abuja as part of its review of Nigeria’s 2023 general elections.
The EU group did not stop there as it profered some suggestions that will make for a free and fair election in 2027.
