Foremost Yoruba separatist agitator Sunday Igboho has declared his unflinching support for President Tinubu’s second term bid.
Sunday Igboho in an uncensored viral video making the rounds came out in an unequivocal terms to warn supporters and candidates of other political parties to steer clear of Yoruba land in their campaigns. He specifically mentioned Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar to stay clear.
In his words:
Even after Bola Tinubu completes his eight years in office, we will still beg him to continue.”
It will be recalled that Sunday Igboho has on several occasions threatened the peace of a united Nigeria in his agitation for the sovereign state of Yoruba land.
He recently returned from self imposed exile after bloody altercation with security agencies during the reign of now demised president Buhari.
President Tinubu few months ago granted him state pardon of treasonable felony offences which has made him to be more vociferous and currently making him to tune down the Yoruba self actualization pursuits.
While Sunday Igboho is a free man walking the streets,he has continued to make highly inflamable statements and counterpart in the South East Nnamdi Kanu is languishing in Sokoto prison after conviction and life sentence jail term handed to him by Justice Omotosho.
