The wife of the president pastor Remi Tinubu still went ahead to throw a dinner party for Senators even after many condemned and advised against such merriment in view of the gloomy situation of the country.
In a widely circulated viral video Senators, politicians and affluent Nigerians were seen throwing banters, laughing loudly and celebrating as if all is well with the country.
In the last couple of days Nigeria has lost a Brigadier General in the hands of Boko Haram, hundreds of Nigerians are still in captivity of the bandits, parents have died of shock because of the abduction of their children.
Up till this moment no word has been heard of the abduction of eleven Kwara indigenes. The same thing with farmers kidnapped in Niger state and other parts of the country.
Earlier in the week Remi Tinubu sent out invitation for yesterday’s bash to Senate President Godswill Akpabio who graciously announced that their mother, the wife of the president had invited them to come and merry in a dinner party.
