Many were left stunned after the senior special adviser on media and policy communications, Daniel Bwala had a heated argument with an international journalist, Mehdi Hassan during a highly monitored interview in the United Kingdom.
The incident, which triggered massive public attention, showed the senior special adviser on live television defending insecurity, and the role played by the current administration in preventing escalations.
Reacting, Bolaji Abdullahi, the spokesman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, made a striking comment regarding the actions of the special adviser.
According to his statements, he pointed out that lobbyists can be paid a whooping $9m to change narratives, but the facts on ground cannot be whitewashed.
He further went ahead to disclose the realities on ground which the special adviser failed to acknowledge in his interview with the seasoned journalist.
The first fact, according to the ADC Chieftain, was that more persons have been annihilated by armed bandits. Secondly, he disclosed that more people were living in poverty currently more than at any time in Nigeria’s history.
