Honourable member representing Umuahia/North/Umuahia South Ikwuano in Abia state, Obi Agwuocha has taken a swipe at the speaker of the house of representatives Tajudeen Abass for asking him to shut up.
It was a tension soaked session at the Green Chambers when the Abia lawmaker tried to convince his colleagues in the house to approve for the release of DSS detained Nnamdi Kanu to undergo foreign medical check ups and treatment following a series of complaints that he is not feeling fine.
Honourable Agwuocha reminded Abass that he has no right to ask him to shut as they are equals and were elected by the people.
The fiery lawmaker even reminded Abass, fellow lawmakers and indeed Nigerians that what applies to a Nigerian should also apply to another Nigerian.
He buttressed his point by stating that same court and government denying Nnamdi Kanu foreign medical treatment have granted Islamic Fundamentalist Ibrahim Zakzaky permission to go to India and Iran for his medical treatment when he was under detention and trial.
He wondered why the case of Nnamdi Kanu will be different in the same country.
