While the nation is engrossed with grief, mourning the passage of former president Buhari, some youths in his Daura, Katsina state are in frenzied jubilation of the death of the general.
In multiple viral videos youths can be seen running round the streets chanting mockery song of Buhari Yamutu. Some of them were even inside flood singing and dancing in celebration of the death of a president that hailed from their state.
On the other hand some residents at his Kaduna State residence have expressed grief over his passing, reflecting on his role as a leader.
Former President Buhari served as a democratically elected president from May 29, 2015, to May 29, 2023, completing two terms in office
Buhari died in London hospital on Sunday, July, 13, 2025 at the age of 82 years.
He is expected to be buried on Tuesday July, 15, 2025 at his Daura, Katsina state residence as the federal government has declared a public holiday to honour the fallen general.
