Two Deeper Life church pastors resign over Kumuyi’s support for Tinubu ‘s government

The branch pastor of Deeper Life Bible Church In Anambra State, Ogueze Venitus Chinyerugo has decided to resign from its’ pastoral ministry following the recent support of the General Superintendent and head of the church, Pastor William Kumuyi, for the president Bola Tinubu- led government.

It was stated clearly stated in his resignation letter dated 28 August 2023, Pastor Chinyerugo said he took the steps immediately after he saw a viral video, in which Kumuyi was seen speaking good of the current government, I felt so bad because the same administration has brought serious hardship and pains upon Nigerians is been supported by my General Superintendent ” he added “

Attempts to further confirm this from a journalist and a staunch Deeper Life Church member proved abortive as he threw the question back to me by saying that I’m a journalist and should be able to verify.

However he said he has investigated from the church authorities.

Pastor Kumuyi has been delving into murky political waters. Throughout Buhari eight years he was often see in Aso Rock hobnobbing with Buhari.

Not only that he severally told Nigerians that Buhari was the Messiah we are expecting and would turn around the country.

But eight years after Nigerians know better as they were left battered and bruised in the eight years of Buhari regime.
