A video of Osun businesswoman, Falilat Yusuf, popularly known as Ero-Arike, who cordinated sharing the rice emerged on social media on Monday.
“Our mother Alhaja Oyetola sent this package for us to share to you all,” Ms Yusuf said in the viral video, as she shared rice packed in small polythene bags to Osun residents on a queue.
Ms Yusuf, who was dressed in campaign shirt and hat of Munifudeen Bola Oyebamiji, AMBO, said whoever takes rice and money from the APC must vote for the party’s candidate.
“Whoever takes money and foodstuff from us and fails to vote for Munifudeen Bola Oyebamiji, his or her children will not prosper,” she said.
Meanwhile, Osun residents will go to polls on Saturday to decide who leads the state for another four years.
While Ademola Adeleke of Accord Party is seeking reelection, Mr Oyebamiji of APC is seeking to oust incumbent governor.
