Afrobeats superstar Davido has stepped in to support the family of the late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo.
In addition to fully underwriting the actor’s funeral expenses, Davido gifted both of Alex Ekubo’s parents ₦50 million each and pledged further financial support for his siblings’ education
Davido made this pledge on his public platforms to take full financial responsibility for all funeral and burial arrangements.
He gifted both the actor’s mother and father ₦50 million each to help them navigate this difficult time.
He did not stop there as he also committed to funding the education of Alex Ekubo’s siblings by supporting their relocation to the U.S. along with a monthly allowance.
