Femi Gbajabiamila recently revealed he almost lost his job as Chief of Staff to President Tinubu due to alleged political unrest in the Lagos State House of Assembly involving lawmaker Desmond Elliot.
President Tinubu reportedly confronted Gbajabiamila, suspecting he was backing Desmond Elliot in a plot to impeach Speaker Mudashiru Obasa.
Gbajabiamila intervened, ordered Elliot to leave any such groups, and publicly clarify his innocence, after being pressed by the Director General of the DSS.
President Tinubu called me to his study in his Abuja house during the Obasa impeachment saga and told me he heard that my boy Desmond Elliot was among the arrow heads causing commotion in Lagos state House of Assembly in a bid to remove Speaker Mudashiru Obasa.
But recently the Nollywood actor apologized to his political godfather when he said if I have offended and erred in any way, I’m sorry’.
