An aggrieved All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly aspirant in Imo State has publicly lamented spending over ₦100 million on nomination forms and grassroots campaigns, only to be denied the party ticket.
The aspirant released a viral video detailing his grievances regarding the following:Hhgh financial costs of his quest for the ticket.
: He claims he and five other aspirants in his zone spent equally massive sums of money amounting to ₦10 million which was used just for the initial paperwork and extortions at the Owerri party office.
The ticket was eventually handed to a female candidate who did not originally purchase the State House of Assembly nomination form.
According to the agitator the woman had initially vied for the Federal House of Representatives and failed to grasp the green chamber ticket.
The aggrieved politician alleged that party executives made the final decision directly at the Government House without consulting or holding any grievance-redress meetings with the active aspirants.
