It seems clear that any defection by Chinda was not announced anywhere.
As at the time he ran to be governorship candidate of APC in Rivers state, he was also Minority Leader in the house of representatives and from the opposition party.
Odinkalu pointed out that even worse is the fact the opposition parties are all averting their gaze from this issue, possibly as their own excuse for when the political whataboutery begins.
