Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Laide Bakare, is set to marry third husband.
This much was revealed by the actress during a recent interview with content creator Akin Abolade.
She said that despite her previous marriages, she considers the upcoming one as her first “official” union.
“I will soon be getting married officially for the first time ever,” she said.
Bakare disclosed that wedding preparations are already in progress, although she chose not to reveal the identity of her fiancé or the date for the ceremony.
The actress has previously been married twice. Her first marriage was to U.S.-based businessman Olumide Okufulure, with whom she has a daughter, Simi. Following their separation, she remarried Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012, and the union produced two sons.
However, the second marriage later ended after Orilowo was reportedly declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in 2014 over alleged fraud.
