Portable, the controversial Nigerian singer, has called on President Bola Tinubu and Seyi, his son, to pay him more money for all the efforts he put into the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally on Tuesday.
The Tinubu/Shettima rally was held at Onikan Stadium, with several celebrities and politicians in attendance. Viral videos from the event showed Portable running around the stadium, campaigning and entertaining supporters.
In one video, the singer was seen lying on the floor, visibly distressed, insisting on seeing Tinubu and Seyi. His manager Babylov could be seen urging him to get up as they prepared to leave.
There were also reports that Portable fainted due to overcrowding at the venue.
Despite admitting he had already been paid for the event, he demanded additional compensation for what he described as the stress he endured.
“I want to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu; they have almost squeezed me to death. I have fainted; it is Tinubu that is winning. Did we not collect money? Tinubu, pay me more money; I am feeling so much heat.”
In September 2025, Portable revealed that he will endorse the first politician to pay him for his support in the 2027 presidential election.
