Zenith Bank founder Jim Ovia is set to receive approximately ₦8.7 billion (₦7.83 billion net after a 10% withholding tax) in interim dividends for the first half of 2026.
Interim vividend rate for 2026 half yearis peggedat : ₦1.50 per share (a 20% increase from the ₦1.25 per share declared in H1 2025).
Shareholding figure is 5,801,238,332 total units and comprise of 4,145,107,627 direct shares and 1,656,130,705 indirect shares), which represents about 14.13% of the bank’s outstanding shares.
The breakdown of his earnings include Direct holdings payout: ~₦6.22 billion, indirect holdings payout: ~₦2.48 billion.
Date for payment of the half year dividends is fixed on October, 30, 2026.
