A disturbing trending video has gone viral showing nursery and primary pupils in Ebonyi State singing “Tinubu, On Your Mandate We Shall Stand”.
The occasion is said to be packaged by one Honorable Osi Kama Nkemkanma, a member of the House of Representatives representing OHANIVO federal constituency while presenting 40 leaves exercise books to the distressed pupils.
At the background of the video was a voice forcing the children to raise the exercise books up and sing the signature tune of President Tinubu, On Your Mandate We Shall Stand.
To make matters worse was the background picture of the dilapidated school and unkempt environment of the educational centre.
Critics are angry on why politics should be taken to classrooms with young and impressionable pupils who barely know their left from their rights and also why publicly paid teachers should involve themselves in partisan politics.
